Writing tip #2: Think outside the box
Several books are published each week by publishers and authors under their own direction. Make sure you stand out. It’s not easy, but choosing a story with a different approach will grab the reader’s attention.
How did you find this idea? Start by changing the way you do things. Do not think about the beginning of your story, but rather the end. Find an interesting ending and figure out how to use it in your story.
If you have already written several as an author, it may be useful to analyze them. Take a look at recurring themes and writing styles and decide if you can change your approach.
Writing tip #3: Show rather than tell
Another writing tip we can give you is a basic rule that every writer must know and follow in order to write a quality story. What does that mean? Make sure you let the reader experience each step of your story and feel involved.
So when writing a book, don’t write, “The character was laughing exuberantly as they walked”, but tell them that the character was turning red and making a sound that echoed throughout the street until it disappears at the corner of this same street.
